IFWY
International Forum,
We the Youth

The International Forum, We the Youth (IFWY) is a global platform that connects young people with policymakers
from around the world. By blending the vibrancy of a youth festival with meaningful policy dialogues, IFWY empowers
youth to set their own agendas, drive social change, and lead through innovation and sustained engagement.

Why
Participate?

01.Influence the global policy debate

02.Connect with young changemakers

03.Develop and turn your ideas into action with your peers

04.Amplify your voice not only in policy spaces but also in cultural arenas

and commitment to change.

Demonstrated interest or experience in sustainable development, such as peacebuilding,
climate action, social justice, or innovation.

How to Apply
Follow the steps below to complete your application
and share your voice with the world.
Step 1: Create an account

Sign up and create your profile on the IFWY platform using your email.
This will give you access to all the tools and information you need to participate.

Step 2: Introduce yourself — Register as a Catalyst Candidate

Submit a brief written OR recorded (video) introduction (max 500 words or 1 minute) telling us who you are,
your background, and why you want to be part of IFWY.

Step 3: Share your Idea

This is your chance to show your experience and ideas—whether it's climate, peace, justice, or equality—and
why your voice matters.

To submit your idea, follow these steps:
01

Click on “Share My Idea” on the “Ideas Hub” Page.

02

Choose one of the six themes from the drop-down menu

that matches your idea. You may submit multiple policy ideas across different thematic
areas during the application phase. However, if selected, each participant will engage with
only one thematic area during the Regional Dialogues and the Our Sustainable Future
Conference in Seoul.

03

Upload your idea

We highly recommend that submissions be made in English in one of the following formats

  • Option 01

Record a 3-minute video or audio, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, and paste the link.

  • Option 02

Write a short message (max 1,500 words) and upload it directly.

Peer voting

All submitted messages will be published on the IFWY Ideas Hub page and made publicly visible. During the peer
voting phase, members of the community will read, watch, and vote for the most compelling and engaging entries.

Boost
your reach!

You're encouraged to share your message with your networks to gain visibility and support.
The entries with the most votes will be selected to participate in the Regional Dialogues and move closer
to the global conference in October 2025.
